April is a Super Month for people in Boston!

Three super reasons why super hero entertainment is going to be great for people in Boston this April.

Shazam!

On the DC side of things, Shazam! is premiering this weekend. While Shazam! Hasn’t been shown or hinted at in movies prior to this one, in the comics and other adaptions of the character, Shazam (AKA Captain Marvel) is known to be a prominent member of the Justice League. This means that there is a lot of potential to tie Shazam or the plot of this movie or into any future Justice League films. The film is also doing well in its own right with pretty solid ratings and reviews.

Avengers: Endgame

And on the Marvel side of super hero entertainment, we have The Big One coming out later this month. This film is one of if not the most anticipated film of this year (source). It has been about 10 years and 20 movies in the making to come to this point of the story. With a run time of over three hours we already know that we are in for a doozy. After Thanos killed half of all life in the universe in Avengers: Infinity War, the remaining Avengers are going to try to set things right in this one final stand.

The Super Hero Mystery – Boom! Ka-Pow! Splat!

Mystery Cafe’s newest murder mystery dinner theater show is super hero themed, and we have showings scheduled for every Saturday in April. This new show with an exciting and original plot features our very own super heroes (that may or may not resemble other well-known super heroes). The show is funny, suspenseful, and has a good balance of audience interaction. The food is good and the venue is none other than the awesome Elephant & Castle Restaurant and Pub.
