So here you are on a Mystery Dinner Theater website and you see ComedySportz, what gives? Mystery Cafe celebrated 25 years in 2013 and it’s been a great run. We have great audiences who have stuck with us when we started in Cambridge, moved to Boston, opened up in the suburbs and moved back to Boston. We invented the Mystery Dinner Theater and our producer taught people in 21 cities how to duplicate it in their city. We were even around before those Italian weddings… During that time we have launched the careers of some very successful local and national actors and have become a big fan of interactive entertainment of all types, particularly improv. So, a year ago, in Philadelphia, where the 2nd Mystery Cafe was founded by my father, I saw ComedySportz with my mother, my son and my wife and I loved it. It was fun, funny, interactive and clean and we all loved it. It was a sport and as a lifelong Boston sports fan I knew that Boston audiences would love it too. So, I brought it to Boston and I was right, audiences love it. So if you haven’t seen it, we’ll be bringing it to the Elephant & Castle as well as the Davis Square Theater in Somerville. Check it out, see what I mean an if you found this site looking for ComedySportz and found Mystery Cafe, try our new sketch comedy murder mystery, Saturday Night Dead, you’ll love that too. Hope to see you at the show!
