Are you in the mood for something spooky? Then have we got some shows for you!
Starting in September, we’re excited to present two different Halloween shows. In addition to the normal mystery elements of our dinner theater shows, these new programs will offer some holiday-appropriate spooks of your choice: ghosts in Salem, or zombies in downtown Boston.
Kicking off the Halloween Season in spooky style, we’re happy to present Night of the Laughing Dead. Located at our home base at the Elephant & Castle Pub & Restaurant in Downtown Boston, this funny zombie themed murder mystery is kicking off in September. A group of evil scientists have cooked up a nasty zombie virus, and are planning to sell it to the highest bidder. But when the doctor in charge of the project is murdered, any hope of a cure dies with him. The only remaining chance for survival is to decode the doctor’s notes, catch his killer and stop the virus before it spreads.
This show offers some fun add-on packages, including the chance to become a part of the show by being zombie-fied towards the end of the evening! Check out the additional purchase options for a chance to be one of the host of undead who are invading the city. This show starts September 10th, and runs through November 19th, so if you’re looking to offset the holiday crowds, this is the show for you!
If you are looking for a family friendly Halloween option, we are also bringing back our famous Haunted Dinner Theater in Salem, MA starting the last weekend in September. We are excited to announce that this year’s show will be Ghostbusted! Riffing off the cult movie classic, which recently got a fresh coat of paint in this summer’s blockbuster, Ghostbusted features a spooky apparition and an intrepid crew of ghost hunters called in to save our unsuspecting party guests. With the help of the audience, the Ghostbashers must solve the murder of the previous hotel owner and allow his spirit to finally rest.
This dinner theater experience is being offered in a couple different restaurants in Salem, MA beginning on September 24th and running through the month of October. You can also check us out on the Haunted Happenings in Salem website. We hope you’ll make us a part of your Salem experience!
